People Pool is a compliant standalone talent pool solution, or alternatively can be procured to compliment your existing recruitment supply chain to ensure you are engaging with the best candidates available. A talent pool solution relies on the resourcing of candidates to areas of your organisation where you may be struggling to find, hire and retain good quality staff, or you require staff at short notice. This is relevant for Agency and Contract Staff, as well as Permanent recruitment, as well as one off or volume hiring.

Because a talent pool works on the basis of promoting organic growth and client advocacy through your own website recruitment activities and job boards, staff which may be resourced through a managed supply chain supplementing your talent pool where hard to recruit positions arise, do not demand the same high margins that you may already be paying to your MSP for the same service.

The lines of communication are long and inherently cause delays in the time to hire, which is especially costly if the requirement is immediate or time-sensitive. This then can require the client to go outside of their PSL to fulfil this requirement, adding further ancillary cost and negating the need for the MSP in the first instance.

Existing models of third-party recruitment through a managed service provider (both master and neutral vendor models) have saturated the market and we feel this model longer benefits the candidate, the client and ultimately customers/service users. These systems consciously or otherwise encourage agency ownership of candidates due to differing charge rates with clients who geographically may be very close in proximity and demographic, discouraging any potential resource sharing, collaboration, or harmonisation of rates.

The candidate is required to prove their right to work and any associated professional qualifications prior to be deemed ready to work through the talent pool. If they are also required to have any enhanced disclosure this will be carried out prior to readiness to work.

We will alert you prior to a worker's compliance lapsing and can also be fully audited for internal and external purposes. You can also run fully customisable reports on all aspects of the talent pool and the temporary workforce you have engaged through it. We work with you to tailor the platform to your needs prior to system implementation.

Our platform being SaaS (software as a service) and having a high level of encryption means that your data is always secure. Our Information Security Management System is certified to the IASME Standard including GDPR Checkmark, as well as Cyber Essentials, and the datacenter is ISO27001 accredited. Our datacentre partners are SAS70 and ISO27001 accredited. Our hosting platform has strong redundancy built in at every level to ensure you can access your recruitment system any time you require.

DAY 1

  • All existing agency staff TUPE’d over to PP and placed within talent pool, specifically in departmental silo’s and marked as working, making a day 1 saving on pre-existing contract staff.

  • Marketing campaign will yield staff available on talent pool from Day 1, PP will carry out all necessary compliance for these candidates to make them immediately available to organisation.

30 DAYS

  • Review of candidates populating talent pool and areas of need and fulfilment rates.

  • Adjust marketing strategy to suit if needs be.

  • MI reporting to departmental heads assessing;

  • Staff use of TP

  • Engagement of candidates on TP and level of compliance
